The site is hosted on a DigitalOcean private server; the actual hardware node running our instance had some kind of fault, so they (automatically) transferred us to a different hardware node. This inevitably caused some downtime, and moving the site could definitely have led to connection issues as services try to connect to the old location.

Hopefully any connection issues are transient; please let us know if you continue to see them.
